What I learn and obtain in Architure and urban design is showing me our responsibility to take humanism, environment and economy for granted. It is the surroundings that show us the inviting world so that I barely hope to use my design to find what I can share with the endangered earth, probably architecture, environment, activity, space, emotions or even some actions to feel the future.

Reading New York Urbanisms – Summer 2016
MSAUD, GSAPP Columbia University
Team: Kent Avenue
Team Member: Wanpeng Zu, Ahmed Jawdat, Yang Liao
Description:
Kent Avenue in Brooklyn is a street corridor located by the waterfront along the east river in Williamsburg district. The area used to be very industrial and full of factories. However, in the last decade, Kent Avenue specifically has experienced development boom around the waterfront, which changed the character of the area completely. This video captures the present Kent Avenue and the vision of its future. People interviewed have different opinions on this development, where some are optimistic about it and others have negative views.
